Dr Glen Hagemann (Asset Health) is a practising sports physician at The Sharks Medical Centre at Kings Park, Durban. He has been medical advisor to The Sharks since 1998, is a past president and honorary life member of the South African Sports Medicine Association and has sat on the Association’s executive committee for more than a decade. He embraces the low-carb, high-fat (LCHF) way of living for health, weight loss and sports performance reasons. He provides executive wellness assessment services to more than 60 companies around South Africa and is a reviewer for the British Journal of Sports Medicine. He is married to Sandi, has two teenage children, and has a passion for the outdoors, including trail running and mountain biking.
