Dr Torben Glud is a Danish cardiologist and an internal medicine specialist, now retired but still very much active in the debate. He is specially trained in echocardiography and prevention. Dr Glud worked for 40 years in the health sector, the last 25 years as a consultant in cardiology. He  treated and followed 1000’s of patients with heart disease. Has followed the nutritional debate since the 70’s and has found that lifestyle determines health for the vast majority and that mainstream medicine has taken the wrong path with a default setting for symptomatic treatment with very little room for prevention.
