Fiona Kane works with Rebecca Varcoe at Informed Health Nutritional Wellbeing Centre in New South Wales, Australia. They are all qualified nutritionists who help people to maintain their health or heal their body using nutritional medicine. They teach their clients how to nurture and nourish their bodies.  They are not fat-phobic; they understand the science behind low-carb, high-fat (LCHF) diets and offer them to clients as options; they  say that since we have been eating the low-fat, high-carb, SAD (standard Australian/American) diet,  we have become fatter and sicker, with obesity, diabetes and dementia all growing to frightening levels. Thus, They do not subscribe to the calories-in, calories-out (CICO) model of obesity. That’s the one which holds that obesity is from gluttony and sloth and all people have to do to lose weight is eat less and move more.
