Dr Göran Sjöberg is a metallurgical engineer and Associate Professor at Sweden’s Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg in the area of Materials Technology with Emphasis on Aerospace Materials. He developed an interest in low-carb, high-fat (LCHF) therapies to treat and prevent heart disease after using dietary change to treat his own heart problems successfully. He is now a researcher of the natural sciences. He has studied the medical profession’s basic textbooks. Most interesting in his view, are the fundamental aspects of cell metabolism. He has spent time on the seminal textbook on that topic: Molecular Biology of the Cell by Bruce Alberts, Dennis Bray, James Watson, and Julian Lewis. He works with Sweden’s LCHF pioneer Dr Annika Dahlqvist and written numerous chronicles on her blog. He regularly gives public talks on LCHF. He is writing a book about the benefits of LCHF for health. The working title is currently: How To Survive And Thrive With Heart Disease.
