    Dr  Mark Cucuzzella is professor of family medicine at West Virginia University Department of Family Medicine. Dr Cucuzella has been to South Africa twice to teach running courses with LCHF pioneer Prof Tim Noakes. He found it inspiring to hear Prof Noakes’ thoughts, as he was learning and teaching the same approach in the US. At West Virginia University, he has achieved  inpatient pathways now for diabetes mellitus remission.  He says: “It has been a long road, but worth it.” Dr Cucuzella is also an elite runner, who in his early 40s can still reel off sub 2:40s at the Boston Marathon.
